Lilly Rose is a basement bar inside the Wayfarer Hotel in DTLA, and the design goes somewhere specific with it. The space pulls from Alice in Wonderland references with crystal chandeliers, clusters of vintage art, and an eclectic mix of furnishings that feel more collected than designed. The cocktail menu is unusually long, running over twenty pages with a wide range of spirits and styles, and the bar also carries some of the better non-alcoholic options in the city. Some nights feature live music. Hours are limited to Wednesday through Sunday, and the bar skews toward a later-evening crowd. It has only been open a short time and reviews are still limited, but the concept is interesting enough to be worth a visit.
