Liberty is Capitol Hill's small, extremely cool neighborhood cocktail lounge at 517 15th Ave E, open daily since 2006. Equal parts cocktail bar, sushi bar, and coffee bar, this community favorite combines a deep spirits list (emphasis on scotch and Japanese whiskey) with inventive drinks like Lady Buzz, Nimbus 2000, and Straw-Barry Manilow. The surprisingly excellent sushi menu complements perfectly executed classics like the Black Walnut Old Fashioned.
