Rosewood Bar

Rating: 3.9 Price: $ Philadelphia Website Yelp Instagram

Rosewood Bar has occupied its corner at Rosewood and Shunk Streets since Prohibition ended in December 1933, making it one of Philadelphia's most storied corner taverns. The Kubicky family purchased the bar in 1973 and has maintained original everything, refusing modern renovations to preserve the authentic character that attracted filmmakers to shoot scenes for Invincible and other productions seeking genuine Philadelphia atmosphere. Daily socializing flows into Taco Tuesday with entertainment and prizes, Sunday Funday with music and sports, and Saturday Dance Parties. Bingo and Quizzo keep the crowd engaged and connected. Open Monday through Friday from 8am to 2am, Rosewood treats patrons as extended members of a loving family where tradition matters.
