Little More is on Reade Street in Tribeca, anchored by a 16-foot library-style gantry and a 45-foot marble-topped bar. It was opened by four people with backgrounds in high-end dining, nightclubs, and neighborhood bars, and the combination of those influences shows in a room that manages to feel both polished and comfortable.

Behind a faux bookshelf is a smaller private room with its own bar and leather banquette seating. Guests can be passed a coin upstairs that gives access to a drink in the speakeasy component below. The cocktail program was developed with bartenders from Attaboy and other respected New York rooms.

The main bar is strong enough to be worth visiting on its own. The hidden room behind the bookshelf is the detail that people mention afterward.
