Mama Tried is at 207 NE 1st Street in Downtown Miami and sits somewhere between a cocktail bar, a dive bar, and a small dance club. The decor is 1970s: red velvet, carpet, the general aesthetic of a place that peaked in 1978 and decided to stay there.
