Paper Tiger Bar is on Beverly Boulevard in Koreatown and leans Victorian in its design with dark furnishings and detailed decor that makes the space feel more carefully built than a typical neighborhood bar. The cocktail menu highlights include a coconut-infused bourbon Old Fashioned and a Tomato Water Martini with Absolut Peppar and fresh muddled tomatoes. The kitchen through the adjacent Blossom puts out Korean-inflected bar food including fried chicken sliders, garlic wings, and gourmet corndogs. DJs play Thursday through Saturday nights and the upstairs seating area has a more relaxed feel than the bar floor. Hours are limited to Thursday through Saturday, 9pm to 2am.
