New Orleans
Notsuoh
Notsuoh (Houston spelled backward) is one of Houston's most eclectic and eccentric bars, hidden on Main Street in downtown. Founded in 1996 as a coffee shop by two artists Jim Pirtle and Missy Bosch, it later obtained a liquor license and evolved into a funky watering hole full of art, music, and surprises.
Inside you'll find old bicycles hanging from rafters, nude female mannequins turned into works of art, a knight's armor, and an old piano encrusted with gems. While sipping a cocktail, catch live poetry readings, local bands, or unique performances. The venue is eclectic to the point of absurdity with demographics as diverse as Houston itself. Located at 314 Main St downtown.
