Emmit's Place is a neighborhood live music venue just off the SW corner of the 610 Loop, opened in June 2012 with a goal of providing great music and fun for all. Featuring local and regional musicians playing blues, zydeco, rock, and country, the venue hosts full bands on Friday and Saturday nights with early (6:30 PM) and late shows (9 PM). Monday brings open jam, Tuesday features jazz jam, and Sunday hosts zydeco jam. The club has a relaxed, welcoming vibe with a capacity of about 75 and is 21+. Open daily 6 PM to 2 AM.
