The Looking Glass Lounge is a well-loved neighborhood anchor on Georgia Avenue in Park View, just one block south of the Georgia Ave/Petworth Metro stop. It's from the same crew behind the Wonderland Ballroom in Columbia Heights, and it carries that same relaxed, no-pretense energy.

The bar spans two levels. Upstairs is where the more laid-back crowd gathers, and that's where the popular weekly trivia night happens. Head downstairs and things get livelier, with DJ nights spinning everything from 90s hip hop to 80s classics. There's also a bingo night that pulls in a younger crowd and makes for a surprisingly fun weeknight out.

Drinks are straightforward and honest. They keep 12 beers on draft split between the two bars, with solid options like Delirium Tremens and Fat Tire alongside rotating craft picks. The food leans American comfort, with jerk chicken tacos and fish tacos being standout favorites. There's a cozy outdoor patio as well for when the weather cooperates.
