The Doctor's Office is an intimate global spirits tasting room with classic cocktails on Capitol Hill, featuring only 12 seats. Owner Matthew Powell, an actual medical professional, has traveled the world sourcing the most interesting spirits for the program, served by the ounce or flight. Opened just four weeks before the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020, this cozy bar has earned international acclaim and become part of the neighborhood fabric. The Doctor's Office is recognized by Tales of the Cocktail Foundation and Whiskey Advocates top 10. Cocktails range from classic to contemporary to bespoke creations. Every drink lists how many grams of alcohol it contains on the menu. Groups cannot exceed five during regular service, though buyouts of the entire 12-seat bar are available.
