Temple Billiards

Rating: 4.0 Price: $$ 126 S Jackson St Website Yelp Instagram

Temple Billiards is Pioneer Square's answer to your Saturday night, where pool tables meet cocktails in a space that actually works for a good time. Six well-maintained tables fill the room under high ceilings, with two upstairs lounges if you want to retreat with your drink and watch the action below.

This is a proper billiards hall that takes itself seriously about both games and booze. The main bar stocks a solid beer selection and craft cocktails, while The Pharmacy upstairs runs its own cocktail program because they understand that serious players deserve serious drinks. The food menu swings between decent pizzas and savory sandwiches, nothing fancy but solid.

Temple Billiards runs one of Seattle's longest happy hours, four to eight pm every day, which means affordable cocktails and beers while you're still finding your game. The owners, Rolando Salinas and Michelle Galliano-Salinas, built something with actual character in a neighborhood that has plenty of it already. It's 21 and up, open from eleven am on weekdays and three pm on Saturdays, and they can host events for up to 250 people if your crew gets big.
