Diller Room
The Diller Room has operated in downtown Seattle since 1894, rising from the ashes of the Great Seattle Fire in a landmark building constructed from Japanese bricks that were originally ship ballast. This historic cocktail bar and hidden speakeasy specializes in bold, hand-crafted drinks and boasts a whiskey collection over 900 bottles deep, featuring rare bourbons, ryes, and American whiskeys. Their signature 1894 Old Fashioned uses a private Maker's Mark barrel, house sour, sugar syrup, and house-made 1894 bitters, served over a large ice sphere. Food comes from sister wine bar Tra Due Leoni, featuring handcrafted Italian pizza and charcuterie boards. Located at the corner of First Avenue and University Street.
