A subterranean den of red light and Mexican wrestling iconography tucked beneath Bimbos Cantina on Capitol Hill's East Pike Street. Since 1998, Cha Cha has been the place touring bands, comedians, and celebrities from Pearl Jam to Drew Barrymore drop into after hours.

The basement lounge is bathed in deep red light with velvet paintings covering the walls and black leather booths creating intimate nooks. The aesthetic is deliberately moody and cavernous, a refuge from the bustle above. Margaritas dominate the cocktail menu with many variations available.

Order food from Bimbos upstairs and have it brought down to your booth. Open Sunday-Tuesday 7pm-midnight, Wednesday-Saturday 7pm-2am. The crowd is eclectic: locals, tourists, and musicians seeking late-night connection. Located at 1013 East Pike St, this is Capitol Hill's best-kept secret dive.
