The Zombie Village
The Zombie Village
Step into a legendary 1930s South Pacific inspired fantasy at this tiki bar in the Tenderloin. This intimate island oasis honors the original Skipper Kent's Zombie Village from Oakland, which operated for 25 years before a devastating fire in 1967. The current version, created by the team behind Pagan Idol, recreates that magic through eight tiki huts, each a tribute to iconic tiki bars: the original Zombie Village, Aku-Aku, Luau, Tiki Bob's, The Mai-Kai, Don the Beachcomber, Trader Vic's, and Bahooka.
Book your own private hut or grab a spot at the main bar for exotic craft cocktails, immersive decor, and a genuine escape. The atmosphere transports you to paradise with rum-forward drinks and the spirit of tiki tradition. Open Wednesday through Thursday 5pm-12:30am, Friday and Saturday until 2am. Closed Sunday through Tuesday.
Located at 441 Jones Street.
