Mr Bing's Iconic Chinatown dive bar at 201 Columbus Ave, operating continuously since 1967 when named after its first owner Henry Grant, nicknamed Mr. Bing. Was a notable favorite of late Anthony Bourdain, who featured it in his 2013 show "The Layover" and listed it as an essential SF dive bar. No food served, but surrounded by wonderful Chinatown and North Beach snacking and dining options. Added to the Legacy Business Registry in March 2023. Simple, unpretentious, authentic SF character, sitting at the cusp of Chinatown, North Beach, and Financial District for over five decades.
