Lore Speakeasy and Escape Room

Lore is San Francisco's newest escape room and speakeasy hybrid, opened in July 2025 in the Mission District at 3065 16th Street. Two distinct bars showcase whimsical theming: the first channels a boudoir-meets-magician's-lounge vibe with dark wood and red velvet, hiding an Alice in Wonderland-themed escape room behind a sliding bookshelf. The second bar is a brightly whimsical Middle Earth fantasy complete with a Hobbit-hole door and LED infinity mirror pool. Their escape room comes with a live actor and flight of three cocktails. The speakeasy serves food-inspired craft cocktails and Asian fusion dishes. Skip the escape room and head straight to the speakeasy if you prefer.
