11 Tigers is on Avenue B in the East Village, a Thai-Japanese fusion bar that makes its own Yadong, the traditional Thai herbal rice spirit. The house version is infused with eleven herbs, which is where the name comes from and also where the cocktail program finds its center of gravity. The walls have tiger murals.

The cocktail menu treats Yadong as a serious base spirit rather than a novelty, which distinguishes 11 Tigers from bars that use imported spirits without understanding them.
