Loa Bar
Loa Bar inside the International House Hotel at 221 Camp St captures the spirit of New Orleans through cocktails inspired by the city's seven most celebrated cultural traditions. Named after "loa," the divine spirits of Vodou faith, the bar exudes an authentic NOLA vibe through soft lighting, rich textures, and the warmth of candlelight. Bartender and mixologist Alan Walter crafts signature drinks featuring unusual spirits, homemade syrups, local ingredients, and fresh-squeezed juices from up to twelve fruits and vegetables juiced daily. Seven limited-time cocktails rotate throughout the year, each paying tribute to a different local tradition and celebration. Open Monday through Thursday 5-10 PM, Friday and Saturday 4-11 PM, and Sunday 5-10 PM, Loa Bar offers an intimate cocktail experience that tells the story of New Orleans' cultural soul.
