Printers Alley

Printers Alley is a historic downtown Nashville destination with roots dating to 1915 when it housed the city's largest newspapers and numerous printing houses. Listed as a Historic District on the National Register in 1982, the alley has evolved into a vibrant nightlife district featuring eye-catching murals, neon lights, and legendary venues where performers like Waylon Jennings, Dottie West, Hank Williams, and Jimi Hendrix launched their careers.

Today's Printers Alley, running between Union and Church Street, is dotted with nightclubs, restaurants, and entertainment venues including Skull's Rainbow Room for burlesque shows, Bourbon Street Blues and Boogie Bar for blues music, and Lonnie's Western Room for karaoke. This cobblestoned historic alley represents Nashville's rich music heritage while continuing as the city's premier nightlife district, blending deep cultural history with contemporary entertainment.
