Hidden inside Tempered Cafe and Chocolate in Nashville's historic Germantown sits a portal to Belle Époque Paris. Green Hour transforms Thursday through Saturday evenings into an enchanting absinthe lounge that serves imported and locally sourced absinthe cocktails. By day it's a chocolate shop, by night it's a moody speakeasy where knowledgeable staff guide you through traditional absinthe rituals performed exactly as they were over 100 years ago. Watch the water drip from a decorative fountain onto a sugar cube resting on a slotted spoon. Order an absinthe flight paired with Tempered truffles. This is educational mixology in an atmosphere designed to transport you. Hours are Thursday 7pm to midnight, Friday and Saturday 7pm to 1am.
