The Commodore is inside the Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove at 3300 SW 27th Avenue, and it's named after Ralph Middleton Munroe, the commodore of Coconut Grove's early sailing community. The room has floor-to-ceiling bookshelves, plush leather couches, and a fireplace, and reads more like a private library than a hotel bar.

The cocktail program was developed with master mixologist Ingi Sigurdsson, and the bar is operated by LDV Hospitality, the same group behind the Regent Cocktail Club in Miami Beach. Live music runs Friday and Saturday evenings from 7:30 to 11:30pm, with local DJs on Fridays and live performers on Saturdays. Happy hour seven days a week from 5 to 7pm.
