The Rendition Room
The Rendition Room is hidden behind a bookshelf at the back of Vitello's restaurant in Studio City, and the bar on the other side runs on a 1930s golden-age-of-Hollywood theme with Ella Fitzgerald, Sinatra, and Duke Ellington playing throughout the night. The cocktail program is ambitious and the setting is genuinely intimate in a way that a lot of speakeasies in LA manage only in concept. Business casual attire is enforced and the dress code is taken seriously: no jeans, shorts, caps, or athletic wear. Membership to Club Rendition unlocks discounts and perks, but walk-ins are accepted with a small surcharge. Hours are Tuesday through Sunday from 5pm. Reservations are recommended.
