Mijo's Mezcal Bar is a tiny speakeasy hidden in a repurposed storage container tucked in the back patio of Cantina Barba at 3701 N Main St in the Greater Heights. This is legitimately the smallest bar in Houston, with approximately 8 seats that fill up quickly. Plan to arrive right at 8pm opening to secure a spot.

The interior features saturated neon lights, a glittered bar top, and Día de los Muertos-inspired murals. You can order from Mijo's cocktail menu or Cantina Barba's offerings, but the mezcal selection is what truly sets this place apart, featuring some of the best mezcals available in Houston. Open Thursday-Saturday 8pm-2am.
