Last Concert Cafe
Last Concert Cafe is Houston's longest-running live music venue, established in 1949 at 1403 Nance St in the Downtown Warehouse District. Once a bordello, this space has evolved into a beloved gathering place serving Tex-Mex fare alongside live performances ranging from drum circles to funk to bluegrass.
Dine inside or on the garden-like patio while hearing some of Houston's most popular bands on the outdoor stage. The owners share a cut of bar sales with performers and guarantee a meal for every band. Most shows run Thursday-Sunday nights. The kitchen serves until midnight Friday and Saturday, while the bar and concerts keep going until 2am. This is authentic Houston music culture at its finest.
