FRNDS Restaurant & Lounge is located in historic Rice Village and blends modern wine bar sophistication with the chic elegance of an upscale lounge. At 2441 University Blvd, this speakeasy-style venue opened in 2023 as part of the Alife Hospitality Group, alongside other Houston hotspots like Lost & Found and Prospect Park.

The bar features an extensive program of crafted cocktails alongside an impressive selection of wines, champagnes, tequilas, bourbons, and spirits. The atmosphere is low-lit and intimate with lounge music, occasional live performers, or DJ sets depending on the night. Some evenings bring hookah and club-like energy to the space. Open Tuesday through Thursday 5pm-midnight, Friday 5pm-1am, Saturday noon-1am, and Sunday noon-9pm.
