Vesper Lounge is a Denver gathering place in the vibrant Capitol Hill neighborhood at 233 East 7th Avenue. The location has deep roots, originally opening as the Lancer Lounge in 1979 before Frank Bonanno took over in 2012 and transformed it into Vesper.

A fun detail from the past remains: the Lancer Lounge letters were removed from the awning and cleverly rearranged to spell out Vesper's motto "No Anger," which still hangs on the interior wall. The bar features seven cocktails on tap, ten beers on draft, and a creative happy hour celebrating the art of the spirit. The house cocktail is a Vesper martini, the signature drink of James Bond from Ian Fleming's Casino Royale.

Chef Frank Bonanno brings his culinary expertise to Mediterranean bar food including gyros, curried fries, hummus, baba ganoush, and burgers. The dimly lit space includes an expansive patio and beers galore. Open Monday-Friday 4pm-2am and Saturday 2pm-2am, Vesper offers flowing cocktails and Mediterranean vibes in the heart of Capitol Hill.
