The Devil's Drink is a high-end speakeasy in Denver's Highland neighborhood with a heavy metal aesthetic and gothic atmosphere. Owner Andrew Harris, a Culinary Institute of America graduate, created this passion project in summer 2023, taking over the Procession Coffee space at night.

The decor is deliberately dark and devilish with scarlet and fire tones, flickering candles, and macabre touches that set the mood. The cocktail menu is equally over-the-top, featuring drinks with names like Succubus in a Red Dress, Heart of Darkness, and All Black Everything. These aren't your typical cocktails; they're fiery and smoky concoctions crafted by co-owners Harris and Alisha Taylor, who bring both culinary and bar management expertise.

The speakeasy has expanded significantly with new digs featuring a 5,700-square-foot space that's more than four times the original size, complete with a red-lit 25-foot bar, booth seating, a coffin photo booth, pool tables, and a kitchen for small plates. It's unapologetically different and definitely worth finding.
