Emerald Eye

Emerald Eye is a dark tropical cocktail bar hidden beneath downtown Denver's historic Larimer Square, inspired by the Caribbean circa 1955. This speakeasy delivers moody, jungle vibes with modern riffs on classic cocktails and a thoughtfully curated rum and agave program.

The space is visually stunning with dark tropical design, shining green tile, vintage-inspired lighting, and botanical wall coverings. Local artist Rachel Yarbrough created murals that bring the whole thing together. Eye-shaped motifs, artwork, and taxidermy depicting tropical flora and fauna complete the immersive experience. Every Friday and Saturday, DJs spin Afrobeats, Reggaeton, and Tropical Downtempo, making it perfect for a night out.

They also host "Hidden Gems," a guided Mezcal tasting series featuring artisanal makers on select evenings. Open Monday-Thursday 4pm-midnight, Friday-Saturday 4pm-2am, Sunday 4pm-midnight.
