Bedlam

Bedlam Public House opened in May 2024 in a long, narrow LoDo space that had been home to Deep Roots Winery before sitting empty for four years. Owner Jacob Berndt, a longtime industry pro, wanted to create something in between the pretentious cocktail spot and the classic dive bar. Bedlam is the sweet spot.

The space blends vintage high tops and a sweeping bar near the entrance with a red-felted pool table centered to antique couches, chairs, and coffee tables. The eclectic collection of art, sconces, and chandeliers throughout makes it feel like a refined, curated hangout. They specialize in cocktails, wine, beer, charcuterie, and fancy bar snacks.

Here's something unique: Bedlam is the number one Underberg seller in Colorado. If you try 100 of these botanical German mini-bottles and consume them here, you get your own plaque. Open daily 4:30pm-2am.
