Bar 404

Bar 404 on North Broadway has serious history. Built in 1929, it became a bar literally the day after Prohibition ended in 1933. In 1951, Jerry Feld took over and ran it as Club 404 for 60 years, making it a neighborhood institution. The December 2021 opening of Bar 404 under new ownership continues that storied legacy.

This old-school local bar doubles as a live music venue and sports bar, so you get elevated bar food with serious entertainment. The stunning southwest-facing patio opens up to the music room with a garage door setup that's perfect for catching live acts. They host everything from Rock and Roll Yoga to Blues and Bluegrass Jams on most Tuesdays, Jazz every Wednesday, and a rotation of Punk, Alternative, Metal, and Indie bands.

It's the kind of place where you can grab a drink and soak in authentic Denver culture without pretension. Open Monday 2pm-10pm through Sunday 10am-10pm (extended hours Friday-Saturday until 2am).
