B&GC

B&GC is literally the hardest bar to find in Denver, and that's exactly the point. Revived from the ruins of the former Cherry Creek Post Office, this clandestine drinking spot is hidden behind an alley entrance at the swanky HALCYON hotel and sits tucked away in Denver's upscale Cherry Creek neighborhood.

With a maximum capacity of just 44 people, B&GC gives you a literal taste of post-World War II cocktail culture. The space is all opulence: a large center bar surrounded by leather stools and banquettes, dark wood walls, deep red leather chairs, and marble flooring bathed in low, vibrant lighting. The vintage cocktail menu features drinks that were popular after WWII, including martinis, Sazeracs, whiskey sours, and daiquiris.

To get in, you need to text for a reservation after 3pm on the day you want to visit. Their carefully curated selection of high-end premium spirits, wines, beers, and antique spirits makes this worth the hunt.
