Moonflower is a plant-heavy cocktail bar in Portage Park on Milwaukee Avenue, with indoor greenery, earth tones, and a cocktail list that leans botanical: drinks called Seeing Green and No Brainer, grilled cheese on the food menu, free skewers with cocktails during happy hour on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.

On weekends a separate downstairs bar called Nightshade opens, running its own tighter menu with shaved ice cocktails and a different music program. It's the quieter, dimmer version of the upstairs. The two rooms serve different moods without competing with each other.
