Lazy Bird occupies the cellar of The Hoxton hotel in Fulton Market, an underground cocktail bar with 52 drinks on the menu and live music Thursday through Saturday. It's part of the Boka Restaurant Group, which means the operation is run tightly and the bartenders know what they're doing.

On music nights there's a $10 cover starting at 9pm. The rest of the time it's open until 1am on weekdays and 2am on weekends. The room is subterranean and low-lit in the way that good hotel bars should be but often aren't.
