Golden Years Chicago opened in 2023 on Chicago Avenue in West Town, put together by bartenders who came from Moonflower, High Dive, and Dante's Pizzeria. The interior is exposed brick, wood furniture, and vintage album cover art: a 1970s rock and blues bar that takes its drinks seriously.

The Florida combines grapefruit, sloe gin, and Galliano. The Boricua Stinger brings together Malta, brandy, rum, and Fernet. The frozen whisky is kept at 22 degrees. Chicago Magazine included it in their Best New Bars roundup. The pedigree of the people who built it shows in what they put in the glass.
