Esmeralda's Lounge opened in 2020 on Division Street in Humboldt Park, a Caribbean tiki bar drawing from Old San Juan rather than Polynesia. The tropical decor is warm and the cocktails are Latin-inspired: a Frozen Naked and Famous, a Rumble in the Jungle, shaken or frozen depending on your preference.

Happy hour runs daily, DJ entertainment most nights, open Wednesday through Sunday until 2am (3am on Saturdays). It's a neighborhood bar that knows its neighborhood and plays to it directly.
