Dorian's is on North Avenue in Wicker Park behind a record shop facade that actually sells vinyl. Buy something if you want, then head through to the bar in the back. The transition from crate-digging to drinking works better than it should.

The cocktails come in unusual vessels: a Cookie Monster drink served in a cookie jar, drinks topped with Fruit Loops, a shared punch in a flamingo. Asian and Indian small plates on the food side: banh mi short rib, pork belly larb, mushroom wontons. A hi-fi Italian sound system keeps the music from being an afterthought. Open Tuesday through Sunday from 6pm.
